wah, ada on the scene reporter... kalah sinar/berita 'hairan' ni... ;)

satu lagi, jalan situ cukup bahaya untuk kenderaan keluar masuk stesen minyak petronal/shell sebab banyak bas asyik parkir (secara haram) di bahu jalan menghalang pandangan di persimpangan.

tu la, malang sungguh nasib budak motor, semua

bila pemandu bas dok mengejar masa,
    budak motor menjadi mangsa,
tak kira tua, muda, miskin ataupun yang kaya,
    dibawah bas, mereka terlentang juga,
    apalah nasib keluarga mereka,
anggota keluarga menjadi mangsa pemandu bas yang tergesa-gesa,
    beringatlah sebelum kena,
apa pun bangsa semua sama sahaja,
    patuhilah undang-undang Malaysia,

GEORGE TOWN: A man was killed and seven others, including his wife and a 10-year-old boy, were injured when a factory bus rammed into six motorcycles at a traffic light junction here yesterday.

Ang Gim Chye, 40, died on the spot while his wife, in her 30s, and the other victims were rushed to the Penang Hospital.

One of the victims is believed to be in critical condition.

The driver of the bus fled the scene which was at the junction of Jalan Tengah and Jalan Tun Dr Awang.

The accident occurred at 5.30pm when the bus was heading towards a factory in Bayan Lepas from the Penang International Sports Arena.
The driver was believed to have tried to avoid hitting a motorcycle before his bus veered into the opposite lane.

It grazed a car before ramming into the six motorcyclists travelling in the opposite direction.

One of the motorcycles, ridden by a man and his 10-year-old son, was dragged for several metres before the bus came to a stop.

The boy's helmet was found underneath the bus.

Ang, from Taman Tun Sardon here, was on his way home for dinner with his wife.

He worked at a goldsmith shop nearby.

At press time, the identities of the injured were not known. Efforts to talk to family members were futile.

Southwest police chief Superintendent Mohd Hatta Mohd Zin said police were now looking for the bus driver, who had yet to lodge a police report.

The accident caused a massive three-hour traffic standstill.
